1010564_10151514483402196_39028848_n-1Yesterday one of my friends from high school posted this gem of a screenshot, causing me to laugh out loud several times throughout the day.   I don't know if it's the juxtaposition of Danzig (a band that absolutely terrified me when I first heard them) with the commonplacery of the Groupon, but something about it is very funny to me.

When you first heard Danzig, didn't you think they were absolutely Satan worshippers?  I did, and I was actually a little scared that listening to their music would give me nightmares.   Glen Danzig's voice is just so dark and intense, like Jim Morrison on steroids, and to have his face right there next to the Groupon logo is too much.

Groupon is SO not badass.  That's all I'm saying.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, that's cool.  Here's a video of the song "She Rides," which I think is probably on the "Stripper Top Ten" list if there is one.   Oh yes, there is a stripper in the video, but she looks really 1980's so don't get too excited.
