Borders Conversation over the weekend:

Me:  Hey, I just got an email that they're closing that Borders over in Danbury.  Maybe I'll go over there and get some books. Do you need any books?  You know how I love a discount.

Steph:  it's a nice offer–but, I mostly read books on my iPad now.

Me:  hmmm…  me too, or I listen to audiobooks.  They have music there too, right?  Maybe I could get some cheap CDs.

Steph:  True, but how long has it been since we bought an actual CD?  I feel like everything is downloadable now, and I feel guilty about the environment when I buy things I could get digitially.

Me:  Indeed.  What about movies? Do they have those?  I feel like I have to take advantage of the huge discounts.

Steph:  Do they even have movies anymore?  I feel like we get all of that from Netflix or Hulu.

Me:   I LOVE HULU!  Actually, I don't even know if they have movies at Borders.  I haven't been there in so long!

(pause)

Steph:  I guess that explains why they're going out of business.
