I was told I missed a few points on yesterday's recap, so I will take one more pass. I want you to know that, in order to capture some of these, I had to watch basically the whole show again, PLUS I used PhotoShop. Oh, the sacrifices I make for the funny!
Someone pointed out that I left out some commentary about Rene Zellweger, and that is true. I think I was tired toward the end of yesterday's post, and she didn't appear until "Act 3" of the show, so I've included her today. By the way, I hope you don't think I'm disparaging anyone here– it's all meant in good fun, of course. I still stick to my contention that I thought Seth MacFarlane did a great job and that the show was my favorite in years.
First, I will honestly ask– what is it with Renee Zellweger and this face? I'm actually confused about it. Does she know that this "pursed lips" thing is not that flattering? Why is she so….shiny?
We haven't seen Renee Zellweger in a few years, but it seems like she still thinks this face is a good idea (both the shininess and the expression). I'm perplexed by this. I think Renee Zellweger is really beautiful, so I find this super confusing. Can someone offer some insight? Does she maybe just have no one in her life that can do an intervention on this face?
Speaking of an intervention, please, someone take this photo to Sandra Bullock and tell her to never, NEVER MAKE THIS FACE AGAIN.
Sandra Bullock, who I think is super beautiful and was absolutely stunning mere moments before this, is known for making "wacky faces." This shot made me laugh out loud because it looks like she's in some kind of wind tunnel. Wow!
Now, let us return to Kristen Stewart, who I have captured looking SUPER BORED, even though (as I mentioned yesterday), she chose to be there despite having nothing to promote, having great seats, and being located right in front of Steven Spielberg and next to John Travolta. Couldn't she have feigned interested in Travolta's hairpiece? There are just so many things for her to be interested in!
And finally, here is the face that won Anne Hathaway the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Ugly gets you awards, people!
