I've been laughing at these commercials with the little kids in them for about a year now, and what's really messed up is that after all that money spent on branding, I only just made the connection that these are AT & T commercials.
I think the guy in these commercials is a hilarious straight man, by the way. The kids are great. I just can't put my finger on why those idiotic Geico commercials make you remember the brand, but these commercials, while they are funnier than the Geico ones, do not succeed in making you remember the brand. Yikes!

By the way, for the record, we've been AT & T customers for eight years, and I can't recommend them AT ALL. The network is NOT what they say it is, it constantly drops calls, and I find their customer service to be annoying at best. The only reason we don't make the switch to Verizon is because we're grandfathered in with the AT & T data plan, and I like watching movies on my iPhone when I am waiting in boring places like the doctor's office.

How about this, AT & T? What if you take the millions you're spending on these non-memorable commercials and use that money to IMPROVE YOUR NETWORK? Call me crazy, but I feel like I should be able to drive up the West Side Highway or cross from New York to Connecticut without having my phone drop the call every single time, no matter how hilarious those little kids are.
