2013-06-17 10.50.38I saw this sign the other day in the Costco alcohol store, and I'm positive the guy who works in that store did not appreciate my taking this photo, but I thought it was funny enough to risk it.

This is one of those signs that they have to put up to limit their liability and ward off idiocy, but you almost want to be like "If someone is stupid enough to actually pull a case of wine down on themself, they are going to Darwin themself out of the human race eventually."

Also, I really think that the graphic designer who drew those stick men putting themselves in those precarious "climbing on steel" situations must have had kind of a good time making this particular sign.   You can kind of tell that they are trying to illustrate "DON'T DO THIS, BECAUSE HEAVY THINGS WILL FALL ON YOUR HEAD, AND WE ARE NOT PAYING YOUR MEDICAL BILLS IF YOU ARE TOO STUPID TO READ THIS SIGN."

Finally, why is the stick figure man on the left using one of the boxes as a step?  That just seems like compounded idiocy.   That box is probably empty, small stick man.  It is going to cave in, and you will be crushed by 800 pounds of cheap vodka, and you will be in the news, and we will laugh.
