Update to last post: I totally forgot to put this part in! Regarding vitamin D and exposure to the sun, I actually go out in the sun all the time, as I get my exercise primarily by walking outside. I do wear sunscreen, but not even as vigilantly as other people I know who are similarly pale, meaning I was outside for 1-2 hours per day, every day, which should have been more than enough to stimulate Vitamin D production (even with sunscreeen), and yet I still had chemo-levels of white blood cells. My conclusion from this can only be that we (or at least I) need WAY more Vitamin D than you can get from being in the sun. Get it checked!
