First of all, I am so bummed because we went to see Marc Maron's WTF show last night in Brooklyn, and it was fun, and I tried to post an update with a picture of the truly bizarre scene that was Marc Maron, and a girl who makes robots, and a guy with a dummy, and one of the guys who founded The Onion, but my phone was totally not cooperating, so the moment was lost. Here is one photo I did manage to get, but I don't think it really captures the WTF vibe. The show was great!
Anyhoo, today I will excerpt someone else's blog as my Funny Strange. Believe it or not, this conversation made me actually consider having a child, because all at once I realized that children are a constant source of absurd and amusing logic. I wonder if this would make all the barf and sleep deprivation worth it?
My friend Shannon has a blog you should totally read because she's a good writer, but also because her daughters are funny. Here is her summary of a dinner conversation with her daughter Julia, who I think is either six or seven years old:
Julia: You shouldn't call a person fat.
Me: No.
Julia: Unless they ask you.

But that probably wouldn't ever happen.

Unless it was a clown.
