So, hello again! How was your holiday? I felt like I got alot done in 2010 and like it was a good year overall– it was definitely nice not being in Los Angeles (sorry LA friends– nothing personal! Miss you guys!). It is fun living on the east coast again for many reasons, not least of which is the fact that I grew up primarily in California, so I am the one person on earth who is totally over it being 75 and sunny on Christmas. I like seasons, and weather, and now I totally get why the weather channel exists!
In case you're wondering, no, we did not get stuck in Snowmageddon, a fact I am very excited about because I have a Toyota Prius as you know, and while it may be a great gas mileage type car, a car for all seasons it is not. We spend the holidays in Carmel (see crazy beautiful beach photo above), so we got out mid-December and have only now returned. In case you would like a laugh, please try to imagine the amazingly large number of to do lists it took to pack and remember everything. I assure you my friends, it was quite absurd. Now I am in the process of reversing those to-do lists, catching up (obviously), and cleaning out for the new year.
So, what's new for 2011? Well, I am totally going to run at least one marathon, am going to create systems to work smarter (not harder), and am going to seriously consider addressing my consumption of peanut m & m's.
Some other announcements: if you're interested in websites, SEO, or marketing, I would love for you to sign up for my company's monthly newsletter, where I will be discussing new trends, introducing new services, and giving things away. That should be fun, right? I have already launched three websites this year, dude. THREE WEBSITES.
Also, this is huge! Stephan is doing a year-long project where he produces one creative work a day for the whole year (this includes poetry, photographs, paintings, and more). You can also sign up for those updates, or just go over there to check out what he's done so far. Anything sold on the site and all donations go to charity, so we are excited about that. Go Stephan! He is such a Renaissance man, right?
